Police Tase, Drag Out Far-Left Protesters at MTG Event -

During a Tax Day town hall near her Rome, Georgia, home on Tuesday, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene slammed left-wing protesters who clashed with police, while praising officers for maintaining peace.

The town hall took place at the Acworth Community Center with a strong law enforcement presence, including the Acworth Police Department, Cobb County Police, Cobb County Sheriff’s Office, Kennesaw Police, and Georgia State Patrol. Crime analysts identified online posts hinting at possible disruptions, prompting officials to make advance security preparations.

Security was tight throughout the event. Only pre-registered residents of Rep. Greene’s district were permitted entry, with IDs checked against a sign-up list. The location was kept confidential until registration was verified. Despite the strict measures, Greene emphasized that she welcomed constituents of all political backgrounds, Fox5 reported.

Before the event began, a group of protesters gathered outside the venue, holding signs criticizing Rep. Greene and the Trump administration. The crowd, voicing opposition to the northwest Georgia congresswoman, chanted slogans such as “Hey hey, ho ho, MTG must go.”

“As soon as the Congresswoman began her presentation, several members of the audience became disruptive and created an imminent public safety threat for all in attendance,” the Acworth Police Department said in a statement. “Their intentions were clear — to place the members of our beloved police department in a no-win situation in front of numerous media outlets.”

According to authorities, six attendees were escorted out of the event without incident. However, Fox5 reported that authorities arrested three individuals for allegedly threatening officers, physically resisting removal, and causing harm during the confrontation.

One of those arrested was from Atlanta, but two others were from Dallas, so it’s not clear why they were attending the Georgia Republican’s town hall for residents of her district.

Greene addressed the mayhem during the event and afterward on social media.

“If you want to shout and chant, we will have you thrown out just like that man,” Greene told the crowd shortly after one of the outbursts.

On X, she wrote in a post that contained a video clip of one of the protesters being violent and being detained by police: “For anyone questioning or criticizing the police at my townhall last night, the GREAT police officers conducted themselves in textbook fashion and protected every single person there by keeping the peace!!!!!”

She added:

These protestors were deranged and aggressive and lost control of themselves the second the townhall started.

And the press knows it because it happened right in front of them!!

If this had been a Democrat townhall, the headlines on national news would have been things like;

“DERANGED MAGA INSURRECTION AT DEMOCRAT TOWNHALL!”

But instead they are; “Man tased at Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene’s townhall”

We have tons of video footage that absolutely proves the protestors were unruly and fighting and resisting police.

I 100% support our heroic police officers for the incredibly difficult job the do every single day.

There are few jobs that are as hard as theirs, not only on them but their families as well.

Police officers should make more money, have better pensions, and deserve everyone’s gratitude and respect!!!

Blessed are the peacemakers, because they will be called sons of God.

Fox5 reported on the three individuals who were arrested. They are:

–Andrew Russell Nelms, 40, of Atlanta, charged with simple battery on a law enforcement officer and obstruction.

–Johnny Keith Williams, 45, of Dallas, charged with the same battery offense and felony obstruction.

–Kiyana Name Davis, 28, also of Dallas, charged with violating a city ordinance for vulgar language.
