Tucker Carlson, Mark Levin Trade Barbs Over Israel And Iran Tension

A behind-the-scenes feud between two of the biggest conservative voices in media is threatening to blow wide open, and it all centers around President Donald Trump’s efforts to broker peace with Iran.
In an exclusive interview with The Daily Mail, Tucker Carlson responded to reports that Fox News host Mark Levin recently met with Trump and his top Middle East envoy, Steve Witkoff, to talk him out of cutting a deal with the Iranian regime.
“It’s amazing how much old people love wars,” Carlson said of Levin.

Levin has repeatedly used his Fox platform to slam the Trump administration’s interest in peace talks with Iran, accusing them of naivety and weakness. And he’s not alone. Rupert Murdoch, the founder of Fox News, has also reportedly raised concerns. His New York Post has run multiple editorials doubting Iran’s sincerity and warning against trusting the ayatollahs with anything.
But Carlson, a fierce Trump loyalist and longtime opponent of military adventurism, has been one of the loudest voices urging the president not to listen to the war-hungry crowd.
“Mark Levin was at the White House today, lobbying for war with Iran,” Carlson posted on X. “To be clear, Levin has no plans to fight in this or any other war. He’s demanding that American troops do it.”

Carlson warned that Levin’s “hyperventilating” over Iran’s nuclear ambitions was just an excuse to get more Americans killed overseas. “A war with Iran would amount to a profound betrayal of [Trump’s] supporters. It would end his presidency,” Carlson added. “That may explain why so many of Trump’s enemies are advocating for it.”
After Politico published a piece revealing his sit-down with Trump and Witkoff, Levin fired back, hard. He blasted the outlet as “a group of people who were pushing propaganda” and denied spearheading any kind of coordinated pressure campaign.
“He and I are very close friends,” Levin said of Trump. “The president knows exactly where I stand on Iran, and he told me he knows exactly where I stand on Iran because he watches my shows on Fox.”
“What I am not doing and what I would not do to Donald Trump,” Levin added, “is lead a lobbying campaign of hawks.”

Then came the personal shots. Levin accused an “isolationist cabal,” namely Carlson, of leaking details about the meeting.
“Levin won’t take your crap,” he said. “He doesn’t like bullies. I’m more than happy to engage with you.”
“I know who the leakers are,” Levin said. “It’s the isolationists, they’re trying to undermine the president and what they’re actually doing, America, is they’re making his job 1,000 times more difficult.”
“By the way, neocon is a pejorative for Jew. Unbelievable,” he wrote.

Carlson, speaking to the Daily Mail, said he was stunned by the accusation. “I worked with Mark. I’ve always gotten along with Mark, always been nice to me. But yeah, he just accused Trump, the Trump administration, of anti-Semitism for calling someone a neocon,” Carlson said.
He continued, “[H]e accused Steve Witkoff of anti-Semitism. And I just want to say, I think Steve Witkoff is, if there’s anyone who is, you know, has the hand of God on him, it seems to me. I sort of overstate it, but I feel that way.”
“We’ve reached peak crazy,” Carlson said. “I mean, I think Witkoff is Jewish, right?”
On his radio show, Levin unleashed again.
“Why do they keep saying neocon? Because many of the neoconservatives were old-time, left-wing, Democrat Jews,” Levin said. “They’re not gonna say the Jews this and the Jews that, so they use neocon.”

And then he hit back hard, “Do whatever you want, it’s perfectly fine by me. But don’t screw with me, you little bastard, by twisting my words. And you should have picked up the phone because I would have cleared things up for you.”
